Part-Time Licensed Clinical Therapist - Trauma-Informed Practice Hand in Hand Counseling Services | Penn Hills, Pittsburgh

About HandinHand Counseling Services

We are a trauma-informed specialty practice committed to providing evidence-based, body-centered care to individuals and families who have experienced trauma. Our clinical team uses somatic approaches, EMDR, DBT, and other modalities to support healing for adults, adolescents, and children.

What You'll Do

  • Provide individual and group therapy (in-person and telehealth) to diverse populations including adults, adolescents, children, and families
  • Work with clients presenting with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and other mental health conditions
  • Collaborate with a supportive clinical team in regular supervision and consultation
  • Maintain clinical documentation within 24 hours per practice standards
  • Build your caseload with support from our administrative team


Who You Are

Required:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work, or psychology
  • Active PA license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD/PsyD) OR LAPC/LSW actively pursuing full licensure
  • Experience providing trauma-informed care
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations across the lifespan (adults AND children)
  • Credentialed or willing to credential with insurance panels
  • Strong clinical documentation skills

Preferred:

  • Training/certification in trauma modalities: EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, SE, DBT, CPT, TF-CBT
  • Experience facilitating therapeutic groups
  • 3+ years direct clinical experience
  • Specialization with specific populations (LGBTQIA+, couples, families, complex trauma)


Compensation & Benefits

  • $40-45/hour for pre-licensed clinicians (LAPC/LSW)
  • $45-52/hour for fully licensed clinicians based on experience and specializations

Schedule

  • Part-time: Minimum 15 clinical hours per week
  • Flexible in-office day (Monday-Sunday available)
  • One evening required (until 7pm minimum)
  • Hybrid: In-person and telehealth options
